What 2020 Has Taught Me

A year has officially gone by and all I can say is that 2020 was quite the year… I’m still trying to comprehend & process everything that 2020 has brought me & everyone around the world. I can’t say that it’s been the best year, but I can say that it has been a decent year for me. Although I did not expect any of this craziness for the year, I still received & experienced pretty much everything I wanted to achieve.

For 2020 I manifested abundance, success, business & power. This year was my first year running my own business & I worked on it every single day. My business is my baby & I’m so proud of what my brand & I have accomplished this year. I’ve launched a total of five products, added new colours to the shop, did two big collaborations with social media influencers, had a successful first Black Friday & Cyber Monday sale & so much more. I’m so grateful for the growth my business has had during this last year & it keeps me motivated for the new year ahead. There is so much coming to RA Attire, I can’t wait for you all to see!

I’ve learned so much this year about life, business, e-commerce, social media & management! I started this year working as a supervisor for one store & I’m ending the year working as a manager for two store locations. I cannot explain how much experience I have acquired over this last year & I’m looking forward to learning more! Everything I have learned, I’ve been able to bring it to my business & I have used my knowledge & tools to grow my brand. This year was another year of hard work, stress & hustling, but it has been worth it!

COVID-19 has affected all of our lives this year & I’m sure it will continue to affect us for the next while. I believe it’s important to stay positive & strong, no matter how difficult it may be. I miss my friends, travelling, socializing, seeing people's faces & smiles. We’ve all had to give up a lot this year & have gone through tragedy, depression & stress. I think about everything that I miss doing, but I remind myself of how grateful I am to have my health, family, job & technology to still be able to connect & see people that I cannot be with in person. I think it’s important that we all think of what we have, versus what we don’t have; it reminds us to stay grateful during these difficult times. This year has been a lot, but we can get through it!

I wish you all a wonderful year ahead filled with good health, love, success & positivity! Stay strong & stay safe!
